One day trip in Penang, Georgetown and team up with few of my classmates and become tour guide to bring tourists walk around and introduce Georgetown to them. The two tourists which is Tian Tian and Shu Yao, they are from China, because they are currently study here so they did not have really much time to walk around and discover the AMAZING PENANG. We are totally lack of time to bring them walk around the whole Penang, so at last after we discussed with them, we decided to choose Georgetown Penang as the location for us to bring them walk around.

[ Itinerary of the trip ]
1) 8:00am - Gather at KDU University College Penang.
2) 9:00am - Ban Heang Biscuits at Penang Road.
3) 9:30am - Breakfast at Roti Bakar, Hutton Lane.
4) 10:00am - Georgetown pedestrians bridge (octopus footbridge).
5) 10:30am - Penang Teow Chew Cendul.
6) 11:00am - Jeruk Madu Pak Ali.
7) 12:00pm - Chowrasta Market.
8) 1:00pm - Chew Jetty.
9) 1:30pm - Armenian Street
10) 2:00pm - Ming Xiang Tai Pastry.
11) 2:30pm -Souvenirs shop at Armenian Street.

[ 1st Attraction - Ban Heang Biscuits @ Penang Road ]

Ban Heang Biscuits shop are definitely a recommend souvenirs shop for the tourists, the provide various type of traditional biscuits and in a very nice packaging, so that it is good to buy from there for friends and family. They provide more than 200 types of product for their guest to choose.

Typical Malaysian's breakfast, cheap and delicious taste of roti canai at Hutton Lane, our tourists are truly enjoyed the roti cancai at here. Very relaxing ambiance for people to enjoy the food that the ordered in the morning to start up their new day!
[ 3rd Attraction - Octopus Footbridge ]

Penang Road Pedestrian Bridge, also called the Komtar Pedestrian Bridge and nicknamed the Octopus Footbridge, is a four-way pedestrian bridge crossing over Penang Road. Built in 1993, it comprises four arms, with access stairs at Penang Road, Burmah Road, Prangin Road and Komtar Walk.

From our tourists, they said that this is the best cendul that they ever tried in Penang, Malaysia and glad had a chance to try it before they heading back to China.
[ 5th Attraction - Jeruk Madu Pak Ali ]

Jeruk Madu Pak Ali, they sell mostly preserved fruit (local fruits), our tourists bought some for their friends and family after they taste the product.

Next stop is Chowrasta Market, we bring our tourists there because this market is one of the famous market in Penang and also one of the community market in inner Georgetown as well. Chowrasta market is the famous market to let the people to get local popular titbits.

[ 7th Attraction - Chew Jetty ]

The Chew Jetty is the largest among the other seven waterfront settlements housing different clans in Georgetown built in the mid-19th century. The name of the jetty – “Chew”, is the surname of the clan living in the water village with wooden houses perched above the sea by stilts, a homeland for generations of the Chews whose forefathers came from Fujian Province in China and were mostly fishermen.

Armenian Street , or Lebuh Armenian, is a street in the inner city of George Town and within the core zone of the George Town Unesco World Heritage Site. It derives its name from an Armenian family who once stayed at the junction of the now Armenian Street and Beach Street in the early part of the 19th century. The street is the venue of the weekly Armenian Street Fair. 19th century. The street is the venue of the weekly Armenian Street Fair.
